Dr. Jessica Castañeda, D.C.

Jessica Castañeda, D.C. graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. She utilizes Gonstead, Thompson, Diversifed and Activator techniques with and emphasis on pediatrics and family care, which includes all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. Dr. Castañeda also holds a post-doctoral certification in the Webster Technique, a safe and effective technique for adjusting pregnant women.

Dr. Castañeda had the opportunity to participate in the Palmer Clinic Abroad Program to Fiji in 2006. “This was an amazing, life changing chance to help others,” says Dr. Castaneda, “We adjusted a few thousand people during our visit in Fiji, most of them children!”

She enjoys salsa dancing, traveling and being crafty. Dr. Castañeda lives in the Quad Cites with her husband Salvador and their three children. Dr. Castañeda has the opportunity to lecture in the field of chiropractic throughout the community, which she enjoys a great deal.

Kelley Gerdts- Chiropractic Assistant

Kelley was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa and has been married to Scott since 1995. They have three children at home; two boys ages 13 and 5, and a 7 year-old daughter. She is a graduate of St. Ambrose University. In addition to keeping up with her kids’ activities, which include band, dance, and a variety of sports, Kelley enjoys reading, gardening, and home decorating. She also enjoys writing, and maintains a blog and a family Web site. She is an active member of her church and with the Sunday school program and has taught Sunday school for many years.

Karah Underwood, L.M.T.

Massage Therapist

Karah Underwood was born in Davenport, Iowa and has lived in the Quad Cities her whole life. She graduated from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage in Davenport. She specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, sports and pregnancy massage and loves to give a Hot Stone massage as well.

Her hobbies include Hula Hooping, sewing, cooking healthy, exercising and playing trumpet in the local band, Maylane. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend. Karah has a great outlook on life and health. Her mission is to give a truely relaxing and therapeutic massage.
